Trivia: Which company created the first heart-shaped chocolate box?
Hershey
Nestlé
Cadbury
Godiva
Correct Answer: Cadbury
So why is this answer correct? : While Valentine’s Day has been celebrated as a romantic holiday since the 14th century, it became the over-the-top, hearts and roses, elaborate gift-giving holiday in the Victorian age. Around 1840, Richard Cadbury, of the prominent chocolate-manufacturing family, decided to capitalize on the holiday frenzy by marketing chocolates in beautiful boxes he designed himself. The original boxes featured intricate designs with paper flowers and pictures of Cupid, and later the iconic heart shape.
