Trivia: Which actor voiced Mufasa in “The Lion King”?
Mel Blanc
Morgan Freeman
Liam Neeson
James Earl Jones
The correct answer is James Earl Jones
So why is this answer correct? : James Earl Jones lent his booming baritone voice to the character of Mufasa in both the original “Lion King” movie from 1994 and the 2019 remake. Jones wasn’t the only notable voice actor in the cast, though. In the original “Lion King,” Matthew Broderick voiced Mufasa’s son, Simba, and in the remake, adult Simba was voiced by actor-musician Donald Glover.
