Trivia: Who was one of the co-creators of Superman?
Jack Kirby
Frank Miller
Alan Moore
Jerry Siegel
The correct answer is Jerry Siegel
So why is this answer correct? : In
1933, writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster debuted the short
story “The Reign of Superman.” The title character was a bald telepathic
villain who wanted global domination. The short story flopped and the
character was shelved. However, they eventually resurrected the name
“Superman,” changed his persona to the superhero we know today, and in
1938, the character made his first appearance in “Action Comics #1.”
Siegel and Shuster received a measly $130 from DC Comics for the rights
to Superman, and the pair later spent years in court attempting to
recoup royalties in the wake of that deal.
