Trivia: Which U.S. President won back-to-back college championships?
John F. Kennedy
Gerald Ford
Ronald Reagan
Theodore Roosevelt
The correct answer is Gerald Ford
So why is this answer correct? : Several U.S. Presidents have played football, but Gerald Ford, in office from 1974 to 1977, had perhaps the most successful football career. He played on the University of Michigan’s championship team in both 1932 and 1933, and then won the team’s MVP award in 1934. After graduation, Ford turned down offers from the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions in order to attend Yale Law School, where he worked as an assistant coach. Ford became the 38th President when Richard Nixon resigned in 1974.
