In September 1992, the characters Beavis and Butt-Head first appeared in an animated short called “Frog Baseball” on MTV’s “Liquid Television” variety show. MTV executives liked the short so much that they hired creator Mike Judge to produce an entire show based on the two wise-cracking, perverted teenage boys. It aired from 1993 to 1997 and became a cult classic. The show was later renewed in 2011.
