Trivia: Who was the last person to walk on the moon?
David Scott
Jim Lovell
Buzz Aldrin
Eugene Cernan
The correct answer is Eugene Cernan
So why is this answer correct? : The Apollo program put the first humans on the moon, arguably the greatest scientific achievement of the 20th century. Between 1969 and 1972, a total of 12 people walked on the lunar surface, the most recent being Captain Eugene Cernan, who was the 11th person to set foot on the moon but the last to leave it. Cernan, who had been a Gemini astronaut prior to joining the Apollo program, was also one of only three people to visit the moon twice.
