What brand was first called the “French Company of Inoffensive Hair Dyes”?

Trivia: What brand was first called the “French Company of Inoffensive Hair Dyes”?

Estée Lauder
Lancôme
Clinique
L’Oréal

The correct answer is L’Oréal

So why is this answer correct? : In 1907, French chemist and pharmacist Eugène Schueller was in search of a risk-free hair dye that wouldn’t harm hair or users. He created his product using a new chemical called para-phenylenediamine, and named the invention “Oréal.” Schueller founded his company two years later, calling it the “Société Française de Teintures Inoffensives pour Cheveux” (“French Company of Inoffensive Hair Dyes”). The name was a mouthful, and was eventually renamed after his first product, “L’Oréal.”
