Trivia: Who saves the girl in the first printed edition of Little Red Riding Hood?
Nobody
Huntsman
Her grandmother
Her mother
The correct answer is Nobody
So why is this answer correct? : Hoping to drive home the moral that people should not trust “wolves” no matter how sweet and charming they may be, the first printed “Little Red Riding Hood” ends with the wolf gobbling up the titular girl. While this proved very popular, later authors softened the tale by adding a huntsman that happens to wander by in time to extract Red and Granny whole from the wolf’s tummy.
