Trivia: Which element was NOT part of the first published Goldilocks story?
Goldilocks
Porridge
Bears
Beds
The correct answer is Goldilocks
So why is this answer correct? : First published in 1837 by Robert Southey, “The Story of the Three Bears” originally featured an old, impudent woman who used bad language as the home invader. Fearing that old women were over-represented in fairy tales, a later author, Joseph Cundall, would change her to a young girl named Silver-Hair. From there, she was upgraded to “Gold” status.
