The correct answer is Pennsylvania
So why is this answer correct? : The Keystone State is spelled as both “Pennsylvania” and “Pensylvania” in the text of the Constitution, the latter of which appears adjacent to the signatures of the state’s delegation. While it may seem like a typographical error, the spelling with just one “n” was a common alternative at the time, and can also be found molded onto the Liberty Bell.
