So why is this answer correct? : In February of 1969, the “The Banana Splits Adventure Hour” theme song titled ““The Tra La La Song” hit number 96 on the Billboard 100. Not exactly number one with a bullet, but not bad for a Saturday morning kids’ show tune. The catchy number was written by N. B. Winkless, Jr., who also created the “Snap Crackle, Pop” jingle for Rice Krispies.
