The Quiz: Where is Samuel Adams — the beer brand and the founding father — from?
Philadelphia
New York City
Annapolis
Boston
Not only was Samuel Adams a Revolutionary War figure, but he also brewed beer, making him the perfect mascot for one of America’s most popular beer brands. Jim Koch founded the Boston-based brand in the 1980s. Like Samuel Adams, Koch also learned how to brew beer from his father. The similarities between the men don’t stop there — both are also alumni of nearby Harvard University. As for the brand’s logo, there are rumors that the likeness on the bottle is akin to fellow Revolutionist Paul Revere, but that is merely hearsay.
The correct answer to this quiz is Boston.
