Trivia: Who was President during all of the U.S. moon landings?
Harry S. Truman
John F. Kennedy
Jimmy Carter
Richard Nixon
The correct answer is Richard Nixon
So why is this answer correct? : The Apollo missions were the only American space missions to put humans on the moon. All of these lunar landings happened during President Nixon’s time in office, from 1969 to 1974 (although the Apollo program ended in 1972). The program actually began several years before its first moon landing, in 1961, during John F. Kennedy’s presidency. Sadly, Kennedy would not live to see the success of the space program he championed.
