Who was Abraham Lincoln’s first Vice President?

Trivia: Who was Abraham Lincoln’s first Vice President?

Ulysses S. Grant
Hannibal Hamlin
James Buchanan
Andrew Johnson

The correct answer is Hannibal Hamlin

So why is this answer correct? : After Lincoln won the Republican nomination for President in 1860, the party selected Maine Senator Hannibal Hamlin to run as his VP. Hamlin was an ardent abolitionist and came from the Northeast, which helped to geographically balance the ticket. Incredibly, he and Lincoln didn’t meet in person until after they had won the election. Lincoln asked him for advice on choosing Cabinet members, but Hamlin didn’t have much input otherwise and disliked his job as VP. He was nonetheless disappointed when he was passed over for Andrew Johnson during the 1864 election.
