So why is this answer correct? : Cartoon character Scooby-Doo has been solving mysteries with his gang of friends since the 1960s. When designing Scooby, the animator looked at all of the prize-winning qualities of Great Danes and included traits such as skinny legs and a long torso. However, in keeping with Scooby’s silly and anxious disposition, the designer also gave the pup opposing traits such as a sloping chin, spots, and a sloped back.
